Grand Opening
After a few delays and much anticipation, BYCV is proud to announce the official dates for our grand opening week:
Monday September 8th - Sunday September 14th
As you already know, all yoga classes during our grand opening week will be free. Normally, we will
be closed on Sundays but during the free week, we will have a 10 am class and a 4 pm class that day. See our free week schedule below:
During our grand opening week there will be draws for some great prizes like free memberships, discounts on
yoga clothing and more!
Be sure to tell your family and friends all about our Grand Opening so that they don't miss out.

We have had such an overwhelming interest in the Founder's Special from our newsletter subscribers that we have decided to show our appreciation

Our doors will be open beginning August 25th with reduced hours from 12pm-5pm Monday through Friday. During this time before our Grand
Opening we will not be running our schedule. We welcome you to drop by to check out the facilities, shop the boutique and pre-purchase your
packages before the Grand Opening.
We will be running a couple of classes prior to the grand opening to test out the heating and sound systems.

BYCV HEALTH TIP: Drink Plenty of Water
Some of you are old hands at Bikram Yoga while others may be trying it for the first time. Regardless of your
experience, making sure you are well-hydrated will make your life in and out of class that much more enjoyable.
Here is the simple formula to follow in relation to water:
Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces every day. Therefore if you weigh 100 lbs, you should drink 50
ounces (1.5 liters) of water.
In addition to that for any beverage you drink that isn't water you need to drink that much more water. For example,
if you have a 20 ounce cup of coffee in the morning you must add 20 more ounces of water to your daily quota. THIS GOES
FOR ANY BEVERAGE THAT ISN'T WATER INCLUDING SODA!
For those days that you practice Bikram Yoga, you will need to drink an extra 16 ounces of water at least two hours
before class.
Benefits of water:
- Aids your body by promoting alkalinity
- Helps quench hunger cravings, most hunger cravings are really signs of dehydration.
- Promotes elasticity and turgor (fullness) of the skin keeping you wrinkle free!
- Rids your body of toxins
- Increases Energy Levels (Your cell's energy and growth is dependent on the electrons it gets from water)
- Increases Physical and Mental Performance
